O treinador foi mais incisivo e afirmou que uma equipe só mantém a intensidade alta, com posse de bola e postura agressiva – como a equipe fez na etapa inicial contra o Emelec, no Maracanã – por 90 minutos no PlaySation.

– É impossível uma equipe jogar como o Flamengo fez por 45 minutos, quando o Emelec não fez um arremate. Foram 70% de posse de bola, como que você quer que uma equipe seja, no Brasil, China ou Europa, como o Flamengo foi por 105 metros pressionando o portador da bola e chegue na segunda parte com a mesma intensidade? Michael Clarke is likely to lose his fight to play in the first Test against India but faces a far bigger and more significant struggle to regain the trust of Cricket Australia and its selectors following the events of the past week, which have seen the captain and the board at odds over his fitness.Clarke’s single-minded quest to play in the first Test of the summer has left a trail of equal parts confused and furious CA officials, coaches and selectors in its wake, while the contrivances of the grade game he had chosen to prove his availability are now under investigation. Hawk-Eye officials have admitted that their review technology made an error in a decision to give Pakistan opener Shan Masood out in the second Test against New Zealand in Dubai last month. At a meeting held at the ICC office in Dubai last week, Hawk-Eye is understood to have conceded to Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq and team manager Moin Khan that the projection used by their technology for the lbw decision was incorrect.Masood, a left-handed batsman, was dismissed in the second innings in the 30th over of the Test’s final day when left-arm pacer Trent Boult bowled a swinging yorker from over the wicket to hit the batsman’s left heel in front of leg stump to be given out by umpire Paul Reiffel. Masood consulted his partner Younis Khan and decided to review the decision. After several slow-motion replays, Hawk-Eye’s projected path surprisingly showed the ball cutting in to hit leg stump after pitching in front of it, instead of going ahead with the angle. Since it was am inswinging delivery, and not a slower one, bowled full, the ball was unlikely to take that path.Pakistan had later asked the ICC if they could meet the Hawk-Eye officials to discuss the decision and inconsistency in the technology. The ICC had also been alerted by its own officials and, during last week’s meeting – first reported by the Abu Dhabi newspaper – Hawk-Eye acknowledged the projection broadcast was incorrect. However, they also said that had the projection been right, the ball would have still clipped the leg stump, instead of hitting it properly as shown during the match, and Reiffel’s decision would have been upheld.Hawk-Eye officials explained that the particular instance brought together a unique set of circumstances that led to an operator making an input error, leading to what was shown on the TV. Misbah and Moin were told that the reduced number of cameras (four were used compared to six) and that Masood’s bat and the square-leg umpire obscured a crucial couple of frames in the ball’s flight, which played a hand in getting the projection wrong.Pakistan had been unhappy with Hawk-Eye in the past as well, when Sachin Tendulkar was given lbw off Saeed Ajmal in the 2011 World Cup semi-final and the Hawk-Eye projection surprised everyone by showing it was missing the leg stump. However, in that case, Hawk-Eye had issued a public statement in defence of their technology.

O próximo compromisso da Ponte Preta é contra o Brasil de Pelotas, no Bento Freitas. Já o Sport recebe o Atlético-GO, na Ilha do Retiro. Os dois jogos acontecem no dia 27 de agosto.

Jogando em casa, a Ponte Preta iniciou o jogo tomou a iniciativa e foi para cima do Sport. A primeira chance foi criada já bem no comecinho com Roger, mas o atacante não conseguiu finalizar com a qualidade suficiente para abrir o marcador.

O problema é que o jogo passou a ficar muito truncado. Ao longo da primeira etapa, as duas equipes mostravam muitas dificuldades na criação e chances de perigo só foi acontecer mesmo quase no final do primeiro tempo em finalizações de Roger e Gerson Magrão.

O segundo tempo começou totalmente diferente. As duas equipes resolveram atacar mais e truncar menos o jogo. E quando isso acontece, a chance é muito maior de sair gols. Logo aos 4 minutos, Roger aproveitou cruzamento de Gerson Magrão e abriu o placar, 1 a 0.

Cinco minutos depois, o Leão foi lá e igualou tudo. Leandrinho passou para Hyuri que surpreendeu Ivan e marcou um golaço, 1 a 1.

O Sport passou a mandar no jogo, pressionou e conseguiu. Aos 29 virou a partida em cobrança de pênalti convertida por Hernane, 2 a 1.

As coisas ficaram feias para Macaca quando Camilo foi expulso aos 31.
Mas a Ponte foi guerreira e buscou o empate. Em cobrança de falta, Alex Maranhão levantou na área e Roger marcou: 2 a 2.

O final do jogo foi emocionante, com as duas equipes buscando o gol. Mas acabou mesmo tudo empatado.

In wake of a convincing outright victory against Uttar Pradesh and first-innings’ points against Bengal, Mumbai appeared to be a cheerful lot ahead of their Group A match against Devendra Bundela’s Madhya Pradesh.Mumbai not only struggled on the field in their first two matches this season, but they also didn’t get their team balance right. They have used 20 players in their first four games, with only five players featuring in all matches. Only in the last game, in Kolkata, with Aditya Tare and rookie Shreyas Iyer having been promoted to top of the order, did the batting line-up appear solid.Just as Mumbai were starting to get a settled combination in place, though, they have been struck with a second major injury blow, with Abhishek Nayar having been ruled out of the match having fractured his toe in the game against Bengal. Nesta segunda-feira, o grupo gaúcho viaja para Curitiba em voo fretado às 21h (Horário de Brasília). Na terça-feira, para amenizar os problemas com a grana sintética na Arena da Baixada, Odair Hellmann vai comandar um treino na casa do adversário.

Com o objetivo de amenizar qualquer tipo de guerra entre os clubes, Inter e Athletico fizeram um acordo e os dois times irão treinar nos estádios rivais.

‘A gente pensou em treinar no Zequinha (estádio Passo D’Areia, do São José), mas não é o mesmo gramado também, é diferente. Aí a gente teve a ideia de solicitar lá para que a gente pudesse treinar, conseguimos. O Athletico também vai treinar aqui no Beira-Rio.
