انحازت جماهير تشيلسي إلى هدف نجمها السابق، إدين هازارد، والذي يلعب منذ عام 2019 مع ريال مدريد في مرمى ليفربول على ملعب “أنفيلد” عند مقارنته بهدف، محمد صلاح، يوم أمس أمام مانشستر سيتي في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

ونجح محمد صلاح في تسجيل هدف رائع ومميز في شباك مانشستر سيتي بعدما راوغ أكثر من مدافع للمنافس ووضع الكرة بقدمه اليمنى ببراعة ليحرز هدف ليفربول الثاني، في المباراة التي انتهت بالتعادل 2-2.

ونشرت شبكة “ليفربول إيكو” البريطانية بعض من آراء لجماهير تشيلسي عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي والتي قارنت بين هدف، محمد صلاح، وهدف هازارد في شباك الريدز في سبتمبر 2018 في بطولة كأس الرابطة الإنجليزية.

What’s the word?

According to Football Insider, Spurs are plotting a shock loan swoop for Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster, who is quite the coveted figure this transfer window.

It’s claimed that Jose Mourinho’s priority has shifted to finding a viable backup to Harry Kane and the 20-year-old is on their radar once again after failing to sign him two years ago prior to him signing his first pro deal at Anfield.

Brewster is with Liverpool for pre-season currently but also has the likes of Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United interested in signing him temporarily.

Parrott 2.0?

Not only will Spurs find it hard to land the young sensation because they could be rivals for a place in the top four, but also because they’ll struggle to provide the game time he needs to progress.

Brewster has just returned from a fruitful spell in the Championship where he scored 11 goals in just 21 starts, so the natural progression would be to hand him an opportunity in the Reds’ first-team or see if another top-flight team could guarantee him valuable match experience.

It’s no secret that Mourinho needs another striker after the north Londoners crashed out of all cup competitions during Kane’s injury absence at the start of the year, but the Portuguese boss didn’t lean on their own starlet, Troy Parrott, so why would he do any different with Brewster.

The Irishman has since gone out on loan to Millwall, which only emphasises the need for an attacking addition but it seems hard to envisage Brewster in the Spurs strip.

Brewster has been lauded as many things during his short career to date, including “special” and “just exceptional” so there’s no denying that he’d be a very good addition in north London.

But it’s just not plausible whatsoever.

لا يزال موقف الدولي الفرنسي، عثمان ديمبلي، جناح برشلونة، غير واضح، إذ لم يتوصل النادي الكتالوني إلى أي اتفاق بعد مع اللاعب بشأن تجديد تعاقده مع البلوجرانا.

وينتهي عقد ديمبلي مع برشلونة في يونيو 2022، ويرغب النادي الكتالوني في تجديده خلال فترة تعافيه من إصابته الحالية في أوتار الركبة.

وبات صاحب الـ”24″ عامًا، قريبًا من العودة إلى الملاعب مرة أخرى، حيث دخل الجناح الفرنسي، المراحل الأخيرة من برنامج التعافي من الإصابة.

وقالت صحيفة “سبورت” الكتالونية في تقرير لها إن برشلونة يضغط على ديمبلي من أجل التوقيع على عقد جديد.

وأشارت إلى أن مجلس إدارة برشلونة يخشى أن يرحل اللاعب بالمجان في نهاية الموسم الجاري مع نهاية عقده.

وقالت إن ماتيو أليماني مدير قطاع كرة القدم داخل برشلونة، على اتصال بشكل يومي مع وكيل أعمال ديمبلي، ولكن المفاوضات بين الطرفين ليست سهلة، في ظل رغبة إدارة النادي الكتالوني في خفض راتب ديمبلي الأمر الذي يرفضه وكيله موسى سيسوكو.

وأوضحت أن برشلونة في وضع صعب، حيث لا يريد النادي إعطاءه دقائق خلال الفترة القادمة، إذا ما كان الفرنسي يفكر بشكل جدي في الرحيل عن البلوجرانا.

ديمبلي يتواجد على رادار ثلاثة أندية أوروبية، حيث يرغب مانشستر يونايتد وتشيلسي الإنجليزيان في التعاقد معه، بجانب يوفنتوس الإيطالي.

What a transfer window Everton are having. Carlo Ancelotti is still working hard to make the Toffees real contenders for the upcoming 2020/21 Premier League season and so far, it has to be said the squad is looking quite sharp.

But the best thing about it is the fact that they are not done with their transfer business just yet. After sealing a couple of deals that will immediately improve the team, Ancelotti will turn his gaze towards the future a little bit.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Everton are set to battle Leicester City for the signature of St Etienne’s young prodigy, Wesley Fofana.

At the moment, however, the Foxes seems to be in pole position to land the ace and are willing to offer around £20m to acquire his services. The 19-year-old is seemingly open to leaving and the prospect of playing in the English top-flight could be tempting and perhaps enough to convince him.

Defensive reinforcements are still on both teams’ minds but Ancelotti will have to roll up his sleeves if he is to beat Leicester in the race. Fofana was excellent last season and is looking to continue this outstanding run of form into the new campaign.

Is that going to be in the Premier League or in France? We’ll simply have to wait and see.

Verdict

Needless to say, landing Fofana on top of all those transfers would be like a cherry on top for Everton’s summer transfer window. Of course, nothing is set in stone just yet and the youngster is, at this moment in time, closer to the King Power Stadium.

But seeing how he’s managed to seal so many deals already, betting against Ancelotti this summer is simply ill-advised. Let’s see if he can work his magic once again and land the coveted youngster.

O São Paulo encerrou na manhã desta quarta-feira a preparação para o duelo contra o Atlético-MG, nesta quinta-feira, no Morumbi, pelo Campeonato Brasileiro. A atividade foi acompanhada de perto pelo presidente Carlos Augusto de Barros e Silva, o Leco. Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett remains keen on Stoke City defender Harry Souttar, despite his future with the Championship side being up in the air.

Pompey’s disappointing play-off campaign last term saw them fail to gain promotion for a second consecutive season and it was expected that first team boss Jackett would bring in a whole host of new faces.

However, limited arrivals have come in to Fratton Park with just Callum Johnson, Sean Raggett, Cameron Pring and Michael Jacobs signing on the dotted line.

One player continuously linked with a move to Portsmouth over the last few weeks has been Souttar, and that interest has now re-emerged.

Souttar, who Pompey showed interest in earlier in the summer could well remain at the bet365 stadium after being lavished with praise for his display in the 1-0 win against Wolves in the Carabao Cup last week by Michael O’Neill, leaving Portsmouth boss Jackett with a potential defeat in his pursuit of the defender.

That being said, The News now report that Pompey remain interested in seeing if a deal can be secured before the transfer window closes on October 16.

It will be a tough task for Jackett to secure a deal for Souttar, especially as Stoke City boss O’Neill has been impressed with his latest performance and may therefore want to keep him around.

However, it seems that Pompey will keep up their pursuit of the Australian international, who remarkably has four goals in just two caps despite being a defender by trade.

West Bromwich Albion will be looking to pick up their first win of the season as they head south to face Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium this lunchtime.

The Baggies have been thrashed by Leicester City and Everton but should have grabbed all three points against Chelsea last weekend having gone into the break three goals to the good.

Slaven Bilic has seen his side leak 11 goals despite playing three-at-the-back, so will the Croatian make any alterations for this fixture?

Here’s what we are predicting…

There could be just two changes from the side that drew to the Blues last time out, although Bilic is likely to revert back to the 4-3-3 which saw them promoted last term.

Sam Johnstone remains between the sticks as the Baggies’ number one and he’ll be protected by a back four this time. It means Semi Ajayi drops to the bench with Dara O’Shea and Kyle Bartley emerging as the trusted central duo. Both Conor Townsend and Darnell Furlong keep their places.

In midfield, skipper Jake Livermore also keeps his spot but he’s joined by academy graduate Sam Field to provide that extra defensive stability in the middle.

And playing slightly further forward could be Conor Gallagher who makes his Premier League debut for the club, meaning Romaine Sawyers is dropped following a run of poor performances.

We’re likely to also see Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira start too, even despite Filip Krovinovic’s return to the Hawthorns this week whilst Callum Robinson leads the line once again.

The bench could feature the Croatian as well as the likes of Branislav Ivanovic, Kyle Edwards and Hal Robson-Kanu.
